Cosette Gobat is an alternative singer/songwriter from central PA. Her style of music is a mix of genres such as indie, rock, pop, and folk. Gobat's debut album "Moving On" was released in August 2012 with Decapolis Records. She is now working with KBM Productions in Philly and will be releasing another album in the spring of 2015.
Gobat grew up in a musical family and her influences began at a young age, mainly rock and folk such as U2, Coldplay, Jewel, Sheryl Crow, and Muse. By the age of 7, Cosette was writing and composing music. She spent her child performing with community theaters and soon developed a love of the stage. By the age of 14, she had written over 100 songs and was already teaching music lessons. That same year, she was signed to her very first record deal with Decapolis Records and wrote and recorded an album that came out in August 2012. From there Cosette played shows all over the East Coast from Massachusetts to Georgia. She has played with major artists such as Sheryl Crow, The Vespers, Skillet, and Reilly. She is now working with KBM Productions and spends weekends in Philadelphia working on her next album to be released in the spring of 2015
